Sunday Morning 3.13.16

Here's what we did this Sunday:

Preschool Sunday School - Ask your child, "Who can you follow?" "Jesus!" The preschool classes learned about Jesus and the important job God have him on Earth - to make us his followers! Matthew 4:19 is the verse for this week.

Elementary Sunday School - our theme for March is "Hope - believing that something good can come out of something bad." This week we learned about the Last Supper and how Jesus encouraged his friends. We learned that Jesus promised his friends that he would send the Holy Spirit to help them, that we would never be alone, and that he was preparing a place for us in Heaven. Our story for this week was John 14-16.

Children's Chapel - this week's lesson continued with Elisha. We learned about three miracles that God performed through Elisha - 1. he made a stew eatable that was not by adding flour 2. he fed over 100 men with 20 loaves of bread and had leftovers and 3. he made an axe head float to the top of the Jordan River! Ask your child about some of the miracles they see God performing today!
