Science wants an explanation, but faith wants a relationship: Middle School Small Groups 11.27.16

What we're talking about

Have you ever had an experience that challenged your faith in God? Maybe for you it was something you heard in a class at school that caused you to question. Or maybe you met
someone with a different faith and it made you wonder about your own. Or maybe it was just a really difficult experience that caused you to question if God really is as good as everyone
says. No matter what the circumstance may be, the reality is a challenge is coming for all of us at some point along the way. There are going to be people and circumstances that cause our faith to be challenged. How do we know? Because it’s happened to all of us! Even some of Jesus’ closest followers had their faith in Him challenged. And there’s a lot we can learn from their experiences in the Bible. As we read through some of their stories this week, we’ll see that while we may never be able to find answers to all the things that challenge our faith, we can still find peace in focusing on what we know to be true about Who we’re putting our faith in.
