I'm sure you probably realize this, but it's always good to get reminders at the beginning of a new year: No one has more potential to influence a child than a parent.
At West Market Street UMC, we work with many volunteers to offer amazing programming for children and youth. But, the average young person spends only 40 hours per year at church and 3,000 hours per year at home. What does that mean for parents? What happens in your home is critical. As parents, we all need to become more intentional; spiritual growth is not only the responsibility of the church.
There are many ways to help your child grow spiritually, but we encourage you to take a small step by using a simple APP. It's called Parent CUE and it's only $1.99. The Parent CUE app provides simple CUES throughout the week that remind you to pause and make the most of everyday moments. The APP:
- Offers CUES for families with preschoolers and elementary-age kids
- Parent Time section has videos, podcasts, and articles just for parents
- Videos, activities, and discussion questions link to First Look and 252 Basics material
- Content updates weekly
AND, the content reflects the same content that your kids are learning at church. How amazing is that! Download it today and start being intentional about spiritual growth at home.
