In the Pre-K through 3rd grade Sunday School the lesson was centered around the idea: “God wants me to trust Him, not my own abilities!”
Their Bible verse was from Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

The 4th and 5th graders leaned about overcoming evil and understanding that obeying God and doing good is more powerful than doing evil. They looked at Romans 12:9-14,21 to see what the Bible tells us to do when others are unkind. And studied 2 Kings 6:8-23 to see ways in which Elisha obeyed God in responding to his enemies
