WMP Recap from 10/7/15

Last Wednesday the GLOW Kids and Mission Possible Kids had a special visitor from the City of Greensboro to learn about recycling and caring for creation.

While the Impact League also learned about caring for creation by discussing the importance of trees and talking with some of the highschoolers who went on the New Orleans mission trip this past summer. The youth served with an agency called Hike for KaTREEna, that has replanted over almost 30,000 trees since Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.

Impact League also had a special guest, Brantly Grier who shared his life story and experience working with and serving our brothers and sisters experiencing homelessness and how important it is to care for others.
